The journey to the next horizon. 🌻🏍️
We chase the sun with the wind in our hair, and we keep moving forward! Who’s joining us on the next adventure?
I’m so hyped to have these finished for my new playmat / mousepad and iPhone wallpaper. ☺️ This was such a fun personal project to work on!

The spirit of creativity is something that I always wanted to capture. To make my VTuber's character art distinct in the illustration I wanted to contrast her bold colorful black and yellow outfit with the wide open saturated blue sky background. The diagonal angled shot expresses her readiness for the open road, stimulates movement, and a curiosity of fearless exploration.
Over the years I would try to create dynamic posed characters but my strength was not in composition or color rendering. At some point embracing a sense of failure or dissatisfaction in my own work has become the stepping stone to improve for my next projects.
Focus: Capture character personality, dynamic poses, use of bold colors, color contrast, environmental framing
